After hearing The Night I followed the Dog, draw a picture of your pet and what you think they do when nobody is watching. I am pretty convinced that my dogs play tag when I'm not watching. What do your pets do? Do they go out dancing? Make sandwiches? Create artwork? Use your imagination to create something fun and silly. :)
After hearing The Rainbow Fish,create your own rainbow fish and ocean scene!
After hearing Carla's Sandwhich, create your own wacky sandwich. Fill it with all kinds of silly ingredients. How funny can you make your sandwich?

After hearing Rex, think about the kind of adventures that you would bring Rex on. Draw a picture of what you and Rex would do together if you got to take him home for the weekend. Let your imagination run wild! .
After hearing Lines That Wiggle, try to use as many lines as you can think of, to create a work of art. Remember, you can repeat lines and change the direction that your lines go in. Try overlapping lines and criss-crossing them!


After hearing A Color of His Own, create your own colorful chameleons. What will they look like? Where will they live? How many chameleons will you create?
After hearing Sylvie, draw your own flamingo with crazy patterns and designs. Think about creating an interesting background...but most of all, have fun.

After hearing A Bad Case of the Stripes, create a self portrait. Add crazy lines, patterns and designs to your face like the ones in the story. Color neatly with crayon, marker or color pencil.
After hearing When Pigasso met Mootisse, create a work of art in the style of Pigasso or Mootisse.
After hearing I need My Monster, think about what kind of monster you would like if you could have one. Design your monster. What kind of face would he/she have? How many legs would he/she have? What color would your monster be?
After hearing When a Dragon Moves In, draw an interesting sand castle, and design your own dragon to live there. What color will your dragon be? Will he/she breathe fire? Have polka-dots? Be small or large? Have a blast creating your dragon.
After hearing Arnie the Doughnut, think about all of the interesting doughnuts you can create. Will your doughnuts be frosted? Have sprinkles? Will your doughnut have a face? Have fun designing as many crazy doughnuts as you can.
